Caramel squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Caramel in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a squonk mod for caramel
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.66 per 10 ml.
Caramel squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: caramel in Nouméa works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on caramel: 23 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does caramel in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
