Caramel pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Caramel in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pod kit from a repack
If you are looking at caramel in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel pod kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on caramel: 23 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.56 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
