Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Caramel box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A caramel box mod from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.79 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: caramel in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel box mod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on caramel: 7 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.79 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
