Caramel 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Caramel in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 9 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a 30 ml shortfill for caramel
A caramel 30 ml shortfill from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.7 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested caramel in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.7 per 10 ml.

Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.7 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
