Candy sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Candy in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
Candy in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.

The short version: candy in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
A candy sub-ohm kit from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.85 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where candy goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
