Candy starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Candy in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
Candy in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you are looking at candy in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: candy in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy starter kit really costs in Nouméa
A candy starter kit from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.36 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where candy goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.36 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.36 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does candy in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
