Candy refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Candy in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Candy is allowed to say
Candy sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Candy in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.23 per 10 ml.
How we tested candy in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where candy goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long candy in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.23 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
