Candy RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Candy in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a RDA for candy
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.8 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at candy in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy RDA really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested candy in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where candy goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long candy in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for candy in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.8 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does candy in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
