Candy pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist
Candy in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Candy is allowed to say
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.37 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy pod kit really costs in Nouméa
We run candy the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested candy in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Packaging for candy in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
