Candy pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Candy in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What candy costs in Nouméa
We run candy the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A candy pen device from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.44 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy pen device really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested candy in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where candy goes wrong
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
