Candy 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Candy in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Candy 30 ml shortfill here
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.76 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Candy sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested candy in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where candy goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.76 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.76 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
