Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version

We run blueraspberry the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: blueraspberry in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blueraspberry pen device really costs in Nouméa
Blueraspberry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.76 per 10 ml.
How we tested blueraspberry in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where blueraspberry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does blueraspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the blueraspberry blend itself harsh.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.76 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should blueraspberry start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
