Blackcurrant refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Blackcurrant in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Blackcurrant refill pack here
Blackcurrant in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on blackcurrant: 6 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested blackcurrant in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.01 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.01 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
