Blackcurrant cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Blackcurrant in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the blackcurrant habit
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Blackcurrant cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: blackcurrant in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested blackcurrant in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.22 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here

Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
