Berry in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Berry 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run berry the same way in Nouméa: same 30 ml shortfill, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: berry in Nouméa works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a berry 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested berry in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where berry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why berry tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.65 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should berry start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
Is berry legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Why does berry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the berry blend itself harsh.
