How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Apple starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

The short version: apple in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple starter kit really costs in Nouméa
We run apple the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested apple in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where apple goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for apple in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
