Apple refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Apple in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Apple refill pack here
Apple in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: apple in Nouméa works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested apple in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where apple goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
Is apple legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
