Apple cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Apple in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Apple cartomizer here
Apple in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: apple in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at apple in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested apple in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.75 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.75 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
