Apple cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Apple in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Apple is allowed to say
If you are looking at apple in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Apple cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested apple in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where apple goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.94 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.94 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
